In America, I’m learning new things during studying abroad. The one is American jokes.
I think, for Japanese, it is so difficult to understand American jokes because we have to completely understand meanings about the words are used in jokes.
I learned the word which engineer can use for jokes. It is ‘java’.
Java has two meanings. First is a prgraming language. Second is type of beans for coffee. So when you want to take a rest, you can say “Shall we have Java break?”.
But I can’t use this joke because I just take Java class!
