Hi there! I am Frederik, the intern from Germany.

Two weeks ago I have traveled from Germany to Japan for the first time. Since then, I was confused by several things which completely differ from Germany. I was bewildered by the many electronic voices speaking to me out of escalators, car doors, vending machines; they even talked to me out of traffic lights. I was overstrained by the big number of little cups and plates on the table in front of me and did not know where to start with eating. And all this unknown polite forms of address left me quite often silently…

After all this astonishing foreignness I found something quite familiar to me: the way of behavior, the choice of food, maybe also the crazy philosophy of life – the staff at “Eyes, Japan” conjoin in a very unique way the japanese nature with the singularities of the conspired group of computer freaks. It’s a very nice experience to see, that this comradeship lasts from Germany to Japan…

“Vielen Dank fuer Eure Gastfreundschaft!”
